What Clive Button creates is a personal experience for each listener, to carry them away on a magic carpet ride of musical indulgence to be enjoyed individually and privately rather than in large crowds or groups as in the case of many other forms of music.
All tracks are also created exclusively using headphones because this is the way virtually everybody hears music these days. So please listen using a good pair of headphones to get the best from Clive's music compositions.

Clive's music compositions fall basically within the category of chill out but encompass a wide range of styles. His love of synthesizers and creating interesting sounds and instruments is evident in many tracks. He also uses many familiar instruments such as pianos and guitars plus orchestral sounds and a host of everyday sounds all mixed in together to create the finished piece of music.

He spend literally ages ensuring that all sounds within a track work well together also using multiple effects devices throughout the entire composition and often as just spot effects on single notes or phrases.
Panning of instruments and effects is used extensively in almost all tracks as well as working exclusively on headphones.

Every album released contains a majority of what could be considered relaxing, chill out tracks, with very often at least one orchestral based composition and one or two funky tracks (something with a bit more of a groove). Every now and then an ambient track is included taking the listener on a mystical journey through soundscapes of the mind.
