More Bacon Than the Pan Can Handle Lyrics

Fugitives on the galleons, I go
More bacon than the pan can handle
Emperors and the salamanders
More bacon than the pan can handleNuggets and the heliotropes, I go
More bacon than the pan can handle
Party games and the ocean liners
More bacon than the pan can handleUtility man
Porquoi
Utility man
Chocolate barUtility man
Porquoi
Utility man
Chocolate barState of grace and the ginger root, I go
More bacon than the pan can handle
Motionless and the circumstances
More bacon than the pan can handleOverland and the easternmost, I go
More bacon than the pan can handle
Hoop skirts and the bubbly strangers

More bacon than the pan can handleUtility man
Porquoi
Utility man
Chocolate barUtility man
Porquoi
Utility man
Chocolate barYeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahTheres a little give to it
Theres a little give to it
Theres a little
Theres a little give to it
Theres a little give to itUtility man, utility man, utility man
More bacon than the pan can handle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahBetter the devil you know
Better the devil you know
Better the devil you know
Better the devil you knowBetter the devil you know
Better the devil you know
Better the devil you know

Mike Doughty (born June 10, 1970, in Fort Knox, Kentucky) is an American indie and alternative rock singer-songwriter and author. The former frontman of Soul Coughing from 1992, Doughty began writing solo songs in 1995, but nothing materialized until Soul Coughing broke up in 2000. At this point Doughty began touring solo with his acoustic guitar (after becoming clean and sober). His album Skittish (recorded 1996; released 2000) was finally released, along with the EP Rockity Roll. Doughty then formed a touring band including an upright bass, drums and keyboard.
