More Than a Woman Lyrics

Doo, doo, doo, doo
More than a woman
Doo, doo, doo, dooOh, girl I've known you very well
I've seen you growing everyday
I never really looked before
But now you take my breath awaySuddenly you're in my life
Part of everything I do
You've got me working day and night
Just trying to keep a hold on youHere in your arms I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I lose you now I think I would dieOh, say you'll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a timeOh, more than a woman
More than a woman to me, baby
More than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to meDoo, doo, doo, doo
More than a woman

Doo, doo, doo, dooOh, girl, there are stories old and true
Of people so in love like you and me
And I can see myself
Let history repeat itselfReflecting how I feel for you
Thinking about those people then
I know that in a thousand years
I'd fall in love with you againThis is the only way that we should fly
This is the only way to go
And if I lose your love now I think I would dieOh, say you'll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a timeOh, more than a woman
More than a woman to me, baby
More than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to meDoo, doo, doo, doo
More than a woman
Doo, doo, doo, dooOh, more than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to me
Yes, you are, babyMore than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to meDoo, doo, doo, doo, hooh, baby
More than a woman
Doo, doo, doo, doo
Oh yeah, yeah, yeahMore than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to meMore than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to meEveryday of my life
More than a woman, oh, baby
More than a woman to meMore than a woman
More than a woman
More than a woman to me

1. British boy band 911 were formed in the early 90s by members Simon 'Spike' Dawbarn (Born in Warrington 5/8/74) and Jimmy Constable (Born in Liverpool 21/9/71). The pair had worked on cult late night television show 'The Hit man and her' as dancers. When they started to receive more recognition than the acts they were dancing for, they decided to start a group of their own. Lee Brennan (Born in Carlisle 27/9/73) joined the band after successfully auditioning for Jimmy and Spike. They were one of only five groups to have consecutive top ten hits in the 1990's and achieved their first and only British number one with a cover of the Dr Hook song 'A little bit more'. The group were, however, extremely popular in the far east. Their first album 'The Journey', stayed on top of the charts for a total of twenty weeks there. After five years together the band split in early 2000. Reforming for a brief reunion tour in 2001 and have got back together sporadically since then, most notably for the ITV show 'Hit me baby one more time' in 2005. Jimmy is now a member of the band 'Upper Street', Spike owns a dance studio and Lee has been writing songs and appearing in panto.

2. 911 is also a Washington, DC, go-go band.
