Morning Star Lyrics

I asked my mother
Is there a morning star?
I was answered by my mother
Yes, there's a morning starIt shines for just one moment
Way up in the sky
And it shines for ever after
In a mother's eyesThat's when I found out
How wise mothers are
There in my mother's eyes
I saw that morning starThat's when I found out
How wise mothers are
For there in my mother's eyes
Oh, I saw that morning star
