Moses in Me Lyrics

Knock knock, Pharaoh’s at my door
Oh, he still comes around
He changed his name but I can hear his sound
Knock Knock, Pharaoh’s at my door
He’s bringing slavery
To tie my hands, to blind my eyes to see
But I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
I’ve got the power, power to break free
This bloody river is gonna split before me
I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
Knock knock, Pharaoh’s at my door
Oh he still comes around he changed his name but I can hear his sound
Knock knock, sorrow’s at my door
He wants to drown my faith
To push me down and hold me to the floor
But I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
I’ve got the power, power to break free

This bloody river is gonna split before me
I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
Yes I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
I’ve got the power, power to break free
This bloody river is gonna split before me
I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me
No gate is high enough to keep me from my land
This desert’s burnin up I think you understand
No Pharaoh’s big enough to tell me what to do
I’ve seen you workin hard and I believe in you
Cuz I’ve got a little bit of Moses in me

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

There are two artists with the name 8th Day. The first was an American R&B group from Detroit, Michigan, active in the 1970s. The second was co-founded by brothers Shmuel and Bentzi Marcus. The group has released three studio albums that get air play on the radio in New York and Israel. Their fresh and unique sound is complimented by their catchy lyrics (mostly English with some Hebrew and Yiddish mixed in) and their spirited vocal harmonies.
