Mother Lost Her Son - Clan Dyken

Clan Dyken is known for it's "world rock rebel music" "funky folk and freakin' bluesy solar powered soul". Brothers Bear and Mark Dyken have been making music since their frozen youth as Wisconsinites. Their "career" spans over two decades as Clan Dyken and include such venues as the Redwood Summer actions, The 100th Monkey Concert to end nuclear weapons testing, the Nobody For President tour with Wavy Gravy, and the Nevada Nuclear Test Site actions. They toured with Shoshone elder and spiritual leader Corbin Harney, and continue to support native american sovereignty with their annual "Revive the Beauty Way" tour which raises awareness and funds for a Thanksgiving Food and Supply Run to the Dine (Navajo) people in resistance to forced relocation in North East Arizona. The bands' current line up includes Bears' son Silas on bass and Somer Moon on vocals and guitar. The music ranges widely in style, incorporating every genre in it's path, and yet remains essentially danceable, and topically fresh and outspoken.
