Mother of Pearl Lyrics

Underworld, the queen of pearls
Catches the light that's in your eyes
She has desires and has to get higher
Trying to love the whole wide worldMother of pearl, she's a charity girl
She's giving herself away, giving herself away
To some body and soul, some body, some body and soul
Some body, some body, some body and soulParadise if you pay the price
Inlaid with love, she satisfies
She has to pray alone everyday
Lying in wait for the whole wide worldMother of pearl, she's a charity girl
And she's giving herself away, giving herself away
To some body and soul, some body, some body and soul
Some body, some body, some body and soulBlack see-through
Dressed to kill and cast her spell
Sequins of fire for her love's desire
She's drifting away from her open shellMother of pearl, she's a, a charity girl
Giving herself away, giving herself away
To some body and soul, some body, some body and soul, yeah

Some body, some body, some body and soul, yeahSome body, some body, some body and soul, yeah
Some body, some body, some body and soul
Some body, some body, some body and soul

Wishbone Ash is a British rock band which achieved its greatest success in the early and mid-1970s. Their most popular albums included Wishbone Ash (1970), Argus (1972), There's the Rub (1974), and New England (1976). They were one of the first bands to use twin lead guitars. Wishbone Ash can trace its origins back to Torquay, Devon, England, a seaside resort in the southwest of the country. It was there that Martin Turner and Steve Upton first performed together; Turner on bass, Upton on drums, before moving to London in 1969 to seek fame and fortune.
