Mr. Slow (Tonny Mitchell) Lyrics

You know, I've waited all my life,
my friend,
Even though the story has no end,
All my friends they call me Mr. Slow,
It's all right,
It's all right. If i could dream my life each day, i would,
Never tried to learn, just understood
That your life goes faster if you're slow,
It's all right,
It's all right.
I'm watching my life fade away,
Each second lasts more than each day,
I have said all i know, all i want, to say.I only want to know what i can see
In the other world inside of me.
There's a password just for Mr. Slow,
It's all right,
It's all right.
I'm watching my life fade away,

If only you'd come home to stay.
There is just nowhere for people to go,
Where is your friend Mr. Slow?I'm searching for time i once had,
Each second lasts mor than a day,
I have said all i know, all i want, to say.

Richard Christopher Wakeman (born 18 May 1949 in Perivale, London) is an English keyboard player best known as the keyboardist for progressive rock group Yes. Originally a classically trained pianist, he was a pioneer in the use of electronic keyboards and in the use of a rock band in combination with orchestra and choir. He purchased his first electronic keyboard, a Minimoog, from the actor Jack Wild. Wakeman was able to buy it for half the regular selling price because Wild thought it did not work as it only played one note at a time. He hosts a regular radio show on Planet Rock.
