There are more than just one Band called Tir Nan Og.

1) A band associated with the legendary german label 'Kettenhund Records' of Andreas Lacher. Symphonic, keyboard-driven Black Metal with a very melancholic, dreamy atmosphere.

Tir Nan Og released one demo "Sonnenschlafhymnen" in 1998 and then disappeared.

2) Tir Nan Og is a German folk band playing a mixture of traditional Irish folk songs and own productions.
The band was founded in 2001 in Germany.

Their music is a mixture of traditional folk elements combined with influences from rock, punk or modern speedfolk as it is known from bands like Dropkick Murphy's or Flogging Molly.
