Mudride (Demo) Lyrics

I got a mouth full of dirt
A hand full of charms
Got a rusty old spade
Don't care who I harmTake you down to the dirt
Drag you through the mud
Drag you through the mudGot a trip for two on a one-way ride
I'll take you anywhere, there's no place to hide
OhI got a belly full of ooze, oh
A head full of hurt
I'll be digging your treasure, baby
See what I unearthTake you down to the dirt
Drag you through the mud
Drag you through the mud
Drag you through the mudGot a trip for two on a one-way ride
I'll take you anywhere, there's no place to hideYou've seen better days
Before you saw me
That's lost in a haze
You've got nowhere to beTake you down to the dirt

Drag you through the mud
Drag you through the mud
Dray you through the mudGot a trip for two on a one-way ride
I'll take you anywhere, there's no place to hide
I've got a trip for two on a one-way ride
Watch your world collapse as our worlds collide
Got a trip for two on a one-way ride
Take you anywhere, there's no place to hide
Oh

Mudhoney is an alternative rock band. Formed in Seattle, Washington, USA, in 1988 following the demise of Green River, Mudhoney's members are vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mark Arm, lead guitarist Steve Turner, bassist Guy Maddison, and drummer Dan Peters. Original bassist Matt Lukin left the band in 1999 but briefly returned in 2000 to complete touring obligations. Mudhoney's early releases on Sub Pop; the "Touch Me I'm Sick" single and the Superfuzz Bigmuff EP; were influential in the Seattle music scene, and helped inspire the dirty, high-distortion sound that would characterize grunge.
