Mullet Pride Lyrics

I saw a man a walking
Just the other day
I saw a man a talking
And this is what he say
He said to me"Son your hair is real short
But in the back its long
Well, if it is and it really is
Then you can sing my mullet song"
Then he said to me"Do you got a mullet
A mullet going on?
Do you got a mullet
Is it beautiful big and long?""Well, if you got a mullet
Theres no need to hide
'Cause its plain to me, just so plain to see
That you just need mullet pride"I said, "Sir I have a question
Theres a question that I must ask
Why is it when I go out in public
Why do these people stop and laugh?""The answer to your question

Its just so plain to me
The problem is just with these kids
They got mullet jealousy"
Then he said to me"Do you got a mullet
A mullet going on?
Do you got a mullet
Is it beautiful big and long?""Well, if you got a mullet
Theres no need to hide
'Cause its plain to me, just so plain to see
That you just need mullet pride"The moral of the story
It goes a little something like this
If you got a mullet
Its a haircut not a fishSo when you wear your mullet
Just remember this little fact
That the mullet is business in the front
And a party in the back
And everybody singDo you got a mullet
A mullet going on?
Do you got a mullet
Is it beautiful big and long?Well, if you got a mullet
Theres no need to hide
'Cause its plain to me, just so plain to see
That you just need mullet prideLa la la

KJ-52 (Jonah Sorrentino) is a Christian rapper from Tampa, in Florida. He was born on June 26, 1975. He's known for two songs addressed to another rapper, Eminem. The name stems from "KJ," which was an abbreviation of his old rap name (King J. Mac) and according to KJ, also stands for "knowledge and justification. "52" (pronounced "five-two") represents the miracle of the five loaves and two fish as told in the Bible. KJ-52 feels he is spreading the word of the Lord in much the same way Jesus shared the food in the story.
He was awarded the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for "Never Look Away" and Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007. KJ-52 also has four Dove awards to add to his 'collection.'
KJ-52's song "You're Gonna Make it" was played at the end of Cold Case Season 5 Episode 8 "It Takes a village." He rapped in the Newsboys version of Jesus Freak alongside, and had a part in TobyMac's remix of One World.
He has been rapping since 1993 (age 18), and his current label is BEC.
