Musidora Lyrics

We've been searching
Out in places never seen
Yeah, we've been looking
Looking like a change of sceneMy little special total extravaganza
Like a summer night or Austin Lancer
And when she rides
I know I'll never make it alone againWe've been drifting
Thousand miles over our heads
We were drowning
Down in river mouths and bedsMy little special, my little creature
She's so far gone, how can I reach her?
And then she flies
I know I'll never get her alone againBaby star
A tiny light
Translucent beam
So pure and whiteMy little special in all her splendor
Like an avalanche or pawn shop Fender
And when she plays

I know I'll never send her alone againMy little special, the faith that's in ya
You lived your childhood down in Virginia
And when she hides
I know I'll never find her alone again
Never alone again, never alone again now

Isidore was born when Jeffrey Cain (from Remy Zero) approached Steve Kilbey backstage after a concert when The Church were touring the US, and handed him a demo of an instrumental song he had written. This song was to become Transmigration. At home in Sydney, Kilbey wrote the lyrics and added vocals in his brother Johns Karmic Hit studio. Thrilled with the result, Cain sent Kilbey more music, which resulted in the s/t album Isidore which was released on Karmic Hit records in 2004. After years of hiatus, on february 21st of 2012 finally the 2nd album Life Somewhere Else was released.
