My Can Do, Can't Keep up with My Want To Lyrics

Well it's sad but true and some day it'll happen to you
When your can do can't keep up with your want toI ain't never been much of a lover and it never really bothered me none
With the whole world full of adorable women I figured I could catch me one
But lately I've got a problem and I don't know what to do
You see my can do can't keep up with my want to
Well my want to wants me to do everything I used to do
But my can do can't keep up with your want to
[ guitar ]
I met a Dolly in a roadside tavern of the time and the place was right
We had a table in the corner where the lights were low
And the band was picking out of sight
We were dancing to a fast little ditty but before I got half through
I found my can do can't keep up with my want to
Well my want to wants me to...
Well it's sad but true...
