My Friends, My Friends Lyrics

Talking 'bout my T-shirts
And how they used to fit me
When I'm laughing with the boys
Their spirits seem to lift meWe were talking 'bout '68 and '69
And all the things we did
It's not that now we're all that old
But then... we were just kidsMy friends, my friends
Never got together again but
I love my friends, my friendsMy memories are happy
And my memories are sad
But I love to take my pictures out
And take the things I hadMy songs are not like my life now
And it's always true
But me and my friends were dreamers
Dreaming all we doMy friends, my friends
We never got together again
But I love my friends, my friendsOh, my friends, my friends
We never got together again but

I love my friends, my friendsMy friends, my friends
We never got together again but
I really do miss my friends

Eddie Money (born Edward Joseph Mahoney, March 2, 1949 in New York City, United States) is an American rock singer-songwriter who found success in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of Top 40 hits and platinum albums. Rock impresario Bill Graham said of Money "Eddie Money has it all...Not only can he sing, write and play, but he is a natural performer." After becoming a police officer, like his father, during the late 1960s, Money began to be interested in music, and eventually ended his law enforcement career in favor of becoming a musician.
