My Goddess Lyrics

I met her travelling round the world
Dressed as she was and appearing absurd
And with her beauty she took away my freedom
And captured me.And then she changed my opinion of
Myself and all that I thought I was
And now I love her, for I can't live without her
And I won't die.And so my love when next we meet
I'll worship you and fall down at your feet
My Goddess, my Goddess
My Goddess.INSTRUMENTALAnd now I find the magic has gone
And so has she and I'm left all alone
And I still love her, and I can't live without her
And I will die.La la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la la la
(and fade).

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Clifford Thomas Ward - Born 10 February 1944, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire — 18 December 2001 Clifford T. Ward typified the early 70s bedsitter singer-songwriter with a series of albums that were at best delightful and at worst mawkish. Ward left grammar school before A-levels to work as a clerk, but by 1962 was fronting local beat group Cliff Ward and the Cruisers. The group changed their name to Martin Raynor and the Secrets and made their recording debut for EMI Records in 1965, before recording several more tracks as the Secrets for CBS Records.
