My Heart Won't Lie Lyrics

People say we look good together
In their eyes your'e my ideal
You've got so many things going for you
But there's one thing that can't be concealedWhen we're alone I can't feel the emotion
That'll bring me close to you
I don't know why, but I've got the strongest notion
That it's not that easy to do'Cause my heart won't lie
It's no good to even try
Don't ask me why, my baby
But my heart won't lieWhen I'm with you, baby, I'm a chameleon
I'm the master of disguise
Foolin' everyone about my feelings
But I think I've just realized thatSomewhere inside is a hidden treasure
And someone who holds the key
Everyone told me that I could do much better
They said he's not the one for meBut my heart won't lie
It's no good to even try
Don't ask me why, my baby

But my heart won't lieNo my heart won't lie
It's no good to even try
Don't ask me why, no no no no
'Cause my heart won't lie
