My Other Woman Lyrics

I love my wife, I love my honey
I gave them both everything I had
Like lots of love and lots of money
Can a little devotion be too much to ask?I should have seen it coming
Man, you know it's always something
I'd give a month of Sundays to see her again
Believe me when I tell youI know it's hard, it's never easy
It's like an illness in the family
So I'm takin' the news the best that I can
My other woman's got another man
My other woman's got another man, oh yeahI was the man, rich and goodlookin'
Ask anybody in the neighborhood
Then she cut out, now nothin's cookin'
All of a sudden I don't look so goodI went to have my head examined
Doctor, what you got for depression?
He pulled me aside and said
"Son, you better get you another other womanI know it's hard, no it ain't easy
You got a problem in your family"

So I'm carrying on the best that I can
My other woman's got another man
My other woman's got another man, yeahNow, every day I feel like cryin'
It's like a part of us has gone away
But I'll be strong, pick up the pieces
I'll find the strength to face another dayYes, I'm carrying on the best that I can
My other woman's got another man
My other woman's got another man
My other woman's got another man
My other woman's got another manHe's got another woman, she's got another man
He's got another woman, she's got another man
He's got another woman, she's got another man
He's got another woman, oh she's got another manYeah
C'mon now, c'mon now

Huey Lewis & the News is a Academy Award-nominated American rock band based in San Francisco, California. Their greatest success was in the 1980s, when they were one of the most popular music acts of the decade and released several gold and platinum albums. The band is known for writing simple, light-hearted songs from a working-class perspective and typically appealed to yuppies and baby boomers.

Combining a rock (and sometimes, a blues rock) backing with harmony vocals and Lewis's voice, Huey Lewis & the News had numerous hit songs during the 1980s and early 1990s, including "The Power of Love" and "Back in Time" (both of which were featured in the film "Back to the Future"), "I Want a New Drug", "Doin' It All (For My Baby)", "Do You Believe in Love?" "Hip to Be Square", "Stuck With You", and "Jacob's Ladder". Huey Lewis shared three Grammy awards, an American Music Award, and a People's Choice Award along with several artists for his role singing the 1985 charity song "We Are the World".

The track 'Hip to Be Square" features prominently in the 2000 movie "American Psycho", starring Christian Bale as serial killer Patrick Bateman. In both the film and the book it was based on, Bateman is a hardcore fan of the band.
