My Religion Lyrics

There's nothing wrong with tradition
But tell me where it says
Not to follow our hearts
That's why so many of us are so confused
And will never live up to your rulesMy religion doesn't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understandsMy religion won't condemn
Always lends a healing hand
Yeah, yeah, it's love
My religion's loveAll it takes is to be willing
And to sacrifice for someone
To someone who is in need
Then we can begin to heal again
And love will sweep the landMy religion doesn't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understandsMy religion won't condemn
Always lends a healing hand
Yeah, yeah, it's love

My religion's loveMy religion, my religion
(It's love)
My, my religion
My religion, it's loveThat's why so many of us are so confused
And will never live up to your rulesMy religion doesn't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understandsMy religion won't condemn
Always lends a healing hand
Yeah, yeah, it's love
My religion's loveMy religion doesn't hate
It will never turn you away
It always understandsMy religion won't condemn
Always lends a healing hand
Yeah, yeah, it's love
My religion's loveMy religion's love
