My So-Called Life Lyrics

Make your first impression brace yourself
It's who you are
Try to find yourself it takes some time
Don't be alarmedA million questions fill your mind
You feel unsatisfied
But don't sit down it's time
To figure out the reasons why that ICan't seem to find my way back home
But I'm trying
This time I think I've gone too far
But I'm trying this time
Is this really what you want to be?
This time I'm tryingPaint a picture of a place
That's deep inside your mind
Look for answers to the questions
And the reasons whyI'm feeling happy and unsatisfied
At the same time
So light a cigarette and take a drink
And you'll be fine but ICan't seem to find my way back home

But I'm trying
This time I think I've gone too far
But I'm trying this time
Is this really what you want to be?
This time I'm trying, this timeI'm trying, I'm trying
This time I think I've gone too farAnd what have you got for me this time?
Are you leaving me out to dry?
And where have you gone, my so-called life?
'Cause I can't find you anywhereThis time I must make some decisions
This time I must make some decisionsThis time I'm trying this time
Is this really what you want to be?
This time I'm trying, this time
Is this really what you want to be?
This time I'm trying, this timeThis time make or break, let lose this dead weight
No room for mistake you feel me, you feel me
This time make or break, let lose this dead weight
No room for mistake you can feel me, you feel me

From Zero is a nu-metal group formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1998. Their music is distinguished from many earlier nu-metal groups with its greater focus on vocal harmonies, and correspondingly less elements of hip hop than groups like Limp Bizkit or Puya. In 1999, the band independently released their self titled EP (referred to as "The Green Album"). At this time, they were also opening for bands such as Amen, Disturbed, Nickelback and Nothingface.
