My Sunset Lyrics

It took so long
It felt like the day would never end
burning
golden
too high to ever come down
but slowly
inevitably
it began it's decent
shadows lengthening
faces turned to gold
colours grew deeper
stronger
patters appearing in clothes and shadows
a line of clouds twenty minutes up
a false ending
as the organge orb decended into the grey
then it appeared

burning
somehow stronger
more brilliant
below the clouds and above the sea
moving faster now
impatient to meet the waves
as it dropped the music faded to a whisper
computer patters dissolve into ripples on the water
the burning circumference fell beneath the horizon
the sound down to the ground
the silence reverberating
a ripple of a applause
