My Wires Lyrics

You push me higher
You got me fighting
I got me fired
Lost and so tired
Search for desire
Lost in cold fire
The pain of my wires
Confused and flat tiredSay can you hear that
Read and interpret
I look like an outlet
Empty and misread
My hair is still wet
Cause I lost the bet
Lying in my bed
Confused aching foreheadLove in the past is just a memory
Love in the future just a fantasy
I you want to choose life
Come on and set me free

If you wish for love
You got to let it beBaby you were mine
But it was killing me
Although we were fine
It was no remedy
To this distant place
Where we used to be
To this missing space
Of curiosityWhen you bent forward
To reach for the floorboards
The ring lost on the porch
Expensive without words
The key broke in the door
I begged you to say more
To showed me the right chords
Confused looking for wordsI heard you singing
Screaming and crying
Dancing and begging
Frightening up healing
My eyes on your ceiling
Cause I know what you think
From the beginning
Confused and ignoringOh, you should not forget
All the thoughts we shared
Though we might not see what it used to be
Oh, I should not forget
All the fears I felt
Cause I might not see what it used to beYou push me higher, you got me fighting
Lost in cold fire, the pain of my wires
