National Grid Lyrics

With or without a father to even you out
With or without a goal to level you out
With or without a count to even you out
We're going out of our way
(x2)He took a lion's share but it had swallowed him whole
He said "remind me" what I was doing here at all
He found a use for but not a lot of them whole
Wish I'd have minded
Or even noticedI believe, I believe everybody has a right to surrender
I could leave, I could leave out anybody else I'm told
I believe, I believe everybody has a right to surrender
I believe, I believe almost anybody else I'm toldHave they ever placed one of those in your way
And you have to find a new way round
Well we haven't got a school an we haven't got a name
And they're struggling to count us nowWith or without a father to even you out
With or without a goal to level you out
With or without a count to even you out
We're going out of our wayHave they ever placed one of those in your way

And you have to find a new way round
Well we haven't got a school an we haven't got a name
And they're struggling to count us nowI believe, I believe everybody has a right to surrender
I could leave, I could leave out anybody else I'm told
I believe, I believe everybody has a right to surrender
I believe, I believe almost anybody else I'm toldAnd you have to find a new way round
Have they ever placed one of those in your way
And you have to find a new way round
Well we haven't got a school an we haven't got a name
And they're struggling to count us now
