H.O.T ("High Five of Teenagers"), formed by SM Entertainment, was one of the most popular K-pop groups of the late nineties. It consisted of five members, all of whom knew how to play various instruments. Produced by Lee Soo Man, their style of music was usually a mixture of rap and ballads, with Kangta providing most of the vocals to the ballads. The magnitude of their fanbase was so immense that they became the the first K-pop group to hold a concert in the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
