Nature Of The Beast (BBC In Concert) Lyrics

It is the key to all the doors
It is the crashing on the shoresIt lives in your steering wheel
It hides in the wind and rain
With voices as cold as steel
It's calling your nameIt is the smile upon his face
It is the winning of the raceIt lives in the red-alert
It lives in the power game
It's easy to take to heart
But harder to tameThis is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
Without all this heat
They'll be dancing west to east
This is the nature of the beastIt is the glowing in his eyes
It is the reason for his liesOh, how many know you're there
Oh, how many play your game
He's always the man to dare

You're always to blameIt is the need to understand
Oh, it is the trigger in his handIt lives in the uniform
It grows from the need to gain
With faces so old and torn
It's calling your nameThis is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
Without all this heat
They'll be dancing west to east
This is the nature of the beastIt lives in the red-alert
It lives in the power game
It's easy to take to heart
But harder to tameThis is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
Without all this heat
They'll be dancing west to east
This is the nature of the beastThis is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)
This is the nature of the beast
(This is the nature)

Spandau Ballet are a popular British band most prominent during the 1980s. Members are Tony Hadley on vocals, brothers Gary Kemp and Martin Kemp on guitar and bass respectively, with Gary also supplying background vocals, Steve Norman on saxophone and John Keeble on the drums. Gary Kemp also wrote most of the group's music and lyrics. Initially formed in 1976 in London they didn't reach a stable line-up or decide on the Spandau name until 1978.
