Never Be Back Lyrics

You and I for so many years
It's just not that easy to pack up the tears
And the pain and forget
We just can't end it
When I'm not through with it yetWe build our walls and divide
And it's so much simpler
When we don't have to decideWho is right? As if it matters
There's never any doors
And we've burned all our lettersBut it's wrong to live life without you
It's gone, I know it's gone
But I can't let it go
Knowing it will never be backYou and I, through so many fights
And it's not about the one
That we had the other nightIt's the ones we've never had
When you close your eyes to me
And pretend you're not madWhat if this is our one chance?
What if it's a test and we failed?
We failedYou and I for so many years

It's just not that easy to pack up the tears
And the pain and forget
We just can't end it
When I'm not through with it yetAnd it's wrong to live life without you
It's gone, I know it's gone
But I can't let it go
Knowing it will neverWell, I can't let it go
Knowing it will never
I can't let it go
Knowing it will never be back
Knowing it will never be back
