Never Give Up Lyrics

Till you get it right, tell em you will never quit
Tell em you will never quit until they day you get it right,
Till you get it right, hold your hand to the sky
Look em right in the eye, tell em you will never quit
Until the day you get it right
Till you get it right
Tell em you will never quit, until the day you get it right
Till you get it right, hold your hand to the sky
Look em right in the eye, tell em you will never quit
Until the day you get it rightSingle mother, two jobs, workin her fingers to the bone
Putting her daughters mouth before her own
Shes gotta do it, but shes still feeling
Like theres something deep inside that she cant leave behind
She wont let go of it, no matter how many times
She hears it over with, its all fixed in her mind
That its gonna get better and she wont ever
Hang her head again, break a sweat again, never againChorus:
Never never give up, never never give up,

No matter how many times, somebody tells you it aint working
Never never give up, never never give up,
Hold your head tot he sky, look them right in the eyes
Tell you will never quit until the day you get it right
Never never give up, never never give up,
Even though some days youll have to cry,
Shake it off and know that everything will be alright
As long as you never never give up, never never give up.College student, paying her own way,
Working the club at night
Look what she go through, to stay in law school
So maybe one day, she can make her way in a mans world
And never be called just another girl
It aint nothing like a dream you cant see
Even when the people round you dont believe
But in the twelfth round, when youre against the ropes,
Here comes your last minute miracle,
Youve got to know toChorus:
Never never give up, never never give up,
No matter how many times, somebody tells you it aint working
Never never give up, never never give up,
Hold your head to the sky, look them right in the eyes
Tell you will never quit until the day you get it right
Never never give up, never never give up,
Even though some days youll have to cry,
Shake it off and know that everything will be alright
As long as you never never give up, never never give up.The sky is the limit, for whatever you want to do
Dont let anyone tell you, it aint possible
No matter how low you feel, keep going higher, higher
See Ive been holding on, to my dreams too long
To watch it get away from me,
This hand is mine to win, and I promise you that
Ill never never give up[2 x Chorus:]

Whitney Houston (born on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey, death announced February 11, 2012 in Los Angeles, California) was a Grammy and Emmy Award winning American R&B/pop singer, actress, former fashion model, record and movie producer. Whitney Houston is one of pop music's best-selling music artists of all-time, with more than 200 million combined albums, singles, and videos sold worldwide. She was known for her soulful dramatic mezzo-soprano voice, vocal power, range and melismatic skill. She was labeled the "Queen of Songs" by Arsenio Hall, who described her as "the first lady of song". She was also known to millions as "The Voice", a nickname given to her by Oprah Winfrey. Also known as the "Queen of Pop/Soul", or soulful-pop music.

Whitney's debut album was released in 1985 to critical and commercial international success, and she went on to release seven consecutive number-one hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. She was one of a handful of African-American artists who received heavy-rotation on MTV during the network's early years in the 1980s.

Houston continued her success into the 1990s with the release of several films and their corresponding soundtrack albums, the most popular of which was The Bodyguard (1992), which produced the worldwide number-one hit single I Will Always Love You. According to the I Will Always Love You Songfacts, it stayed at US #1 for 14 weeks, which was a record at the time and for a while was second to "We Are The World" as the biggest-selling single ever. Houston's albums in the 2000s have been less successful.

Her personal life became the subject of controversy because of allegations of drug abuse, especially after repeated cancellations of public appearances and erratic behaviour.

In mid 2009, Houston released her seventh and final studio album, "I Look To You." The album debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. It became another Platinum seller. It was state in the UK Newspaper "The Mirror" that Houston is thinking about recording her eighth studio album.

Her death was announced by her publicist on February 11, 2012.
