Never Look Back Lyrics

I know, it's hard for me to see
The way things have come to be
But I must leave it beCan't keep turning back
I don't know how to act
I don't know where to start
I know, I've been here beforeMy conscience still believes
That it was on me
My guilty heart bleeds
Don't want to feel this no moreTell me something
Since you've done nothing
Except you lied to me
You said, you'd never leaveAnd after all this I wanted to believe
That you still care about my life
Just tell me something so I can go in peace
'Cuz we could not make that sacrificeI know it's hard for me to see
The way things have come to be
But I must leave it beCan't keep turning back
I don't know how to act

I don't know where to start
I know, I've been here beforeMy conscience still believes
That it was on me
My guilty heart bleeds
Don't want to feel this no moreAnd after all this I wanted to believe
That you still care about me
It's hard to see but it must be
And you take away a piece of meNever take a step back, never look back
I've come to face the facts
And I know where you stand
I never take another step back, never look backI will never take a step back
I never wanna look back
I never take another step back
Never look back

The nyhc band Madball originated back in the late 1980s, as a side project of legendary NYHC outfit Agnostic Front (Where none other than AF's frontman Roger Miret would let his little brother Freddy "Madball" Cricien take the microphone on lead vocals during AF shows). After releasing the "Ball of Destruction" single in 1989, the buzz around the streets was the question of when was Madball going to play next gave birth to an early version of the band playing live on other bills than just AF shows.
