Never Miss The Water (QMUSSE edit) Lyrics

Never miss the, never miss the
you never miss the water until is goneNever miss the, never miss the
you never miss the water until is goneAll is fair in love boy
When the love is shared
Now you've been acting for some time
Like you just don't care
About meWell my mama used to say
That there would come a day
When fools begin to open up their eyesYou never miss the water
'Til the well runs dry ('til the well runs dry)
Now I have had enough bad love
So I'm telling you goodbye, bye-bye, bye-byeBye- bye, bye-bye (you never miss the water until is gone)You've been taking me for granted
You even made me cry
And sorry just ain't good enough
Baby not this timeMy mama used to say
That there would come a day
When the truth can no longer be deniedYou never miss the water
'Til the well runs dry ('til the well runs dry)

I have had enough bad love
So I'm telling you goodbye, bye-bye, bye-byeYou never miss the water
'Til the well runs dry ('til the well runs dry)
I have had enough bad love
So I'm telling you goodbye, bye-bye, bye-byeHmm, some of them lives where love has gone, maybe never been but it's time to move on
Now look at here, you never miss the 'til it's gone yeah
You got step back, 'cause if you don't care
No need to be there
My heart no longer cries out for you, looking for a love that's true
Come on, whatcha do, hit me?
C'mon, step back, are you too blind to see
C'mon, step back, you never miss the water 'til it's goneNever miss the
Ever miss the water
'Til the well runs dry ('til the well runs dry)
I have had enough bad love
I'm telling you goodbye, bye-bye, bye-byenever miss the water
'Til the well runs dry (dry, dry)
I have had enough bad love
I'm telling you goodbye, bye-bye, bye-byeyou never miss the water until is goneYou never miss the water
You never miss the water, 'til the well runs dry
You never miss the water, 'til it's gone
You never miss the water
Never 'til the well is dry
Never 'til the well is dry
Some of them lives where love has gone
Bye-bye, bye-bye
You never miss the water 'til it's gone
You never miss the water
Never 'til the well is dry (never 'til the well is dry)
You never miss the water, 'til it's gone(Step back)
You never miss the water
My heart no longer cries out for you, thinking of a love that's true
You never miss the water
You never miss the water, 'til it's gone
You never miss the water, 'til it's gone (you never miss the water)
You never miss the water, 'til it's gone (you never miss the water)

Chaka Khan (born Yvette Marie Stevens; 23 March 1953 - Chicago, Illinois, USA), frequently known as the "Queen of Funk", is a 10-time Grammy Award winning American singer-songwriter who gained fame in the 1970s as the frontwoman and focal point of the funk band Rufus.

In 1964 at the age of 11 she formed her first group, the Crystalettes. While still in high school, she joined the Afro-Arts Theater, a group which toured with Motown great Mary Wells; a few years later, she adopted the African name Chaka Khan while working on the Black Panthers' breakfast program. After quitting high school in 1969, Khan joined the group Lyfe, soon exiting to join another dance band, the Babysitters; neither was on the fast track to success, but her fortunes changed when she teamed with ex-American Breed member Kevin Murphy and Andre Fisher to form Rufus.

Debuting in 1973 with a self-titled effort on the ABC label, Rufus was among the preeminent funk groups of the decade; distinguished by Khan's dynamic vocals, the group earned half a dozen gold or platinum albums.

While still a member of the group in 1978, Khan embarked on a successful solo career. Her signature hits, both with Rufus and solo, include "Tell Me Something Good", "Sweet Thing", "Ain't Nobody", "I'm Every Woman", "I Feel for You" and "Through the Fire".
