Never No More Lyrics

Written by rita ross, alan block and don hecht
(as recorded by patsy cline 2/13/58)Never no more, will I be all alone
Never no more, will I be a stay at home
'cause I've got me somebody
Who makes me happy when I'm blueNever no more, will I cry for him
Never no more, will I try for him
'cause I've got me somebody
Who makes me happy when I'm blueI've been all around, a-paintin' the town
Saw the old faces and all the old places
That we use to know
But all that is past, got someone at last
Who makes me so happy that
Never no more, will I ever, never be blueNo never no more, will I ever see him
Never no more, now that I'm free of him
'cause I've got me somebody
Who makes me happy when I'm blue(repeat last verse)

Virginia Patterson Hensley (born September 8, 1932 in Winchester, Virginia; died March 5, 1963 in Camden, Tennessee), better known as Patsy Cline, was a Grammy award winning American country music singer who, despite her short life, is known as one of the most influential and acclaimed female singers in the history of popular music. Cline was best known for her rich tone and emotionally expressive bold contralto voice, which along with her role as a mover and shaker in the country music industry, has been cited as an inspiration by many vocalists of various music genres.
