New Dress Lyrics

Ah, no
No, no
GoWith a gleaming success
With a different try
Religious indifference
Mixed it through the linesTerritorial company, they legitimize
Persecution to form enterprise
Now the UN is called to buffer it all
The problem is spreading international
Like Ireland's Belfast, it's coming to be a brand new keyWorking class girl puts her money to the test
She's got a new dress, she's gonna look her best
Yugoslavia's been blown to bits, yeah
She's got a new dress, she's lookin' to the westWell entertain the idea of a peaceful end
[Incomprehensible]
Of a world which is seen the citizens die
While the innocent children play near fire nowWhen I'm not getting through and see evidence
Another truth, we're bombing us
The time for civil war is sooner I live

The chivalrous ones are never representedWorking class girl puts her money to the test, yeah
She's got a new dress, she's gonna look her best
Yugoslavia's been blown to bits, yeah
She's got a new dress, she's lookin' to the westAllocating people for [Incomprehensible]
The methods of the summons are dastardly
Try to cleanse the hands of the murdering
But the advantage of guilt is lingeringShadows of soldiers lay nearby
The dead ones finally reach a compromise
Destruction of war lies in Bosnia
The destruction of war lies in Bosnia

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
