New York, New York Lyrics

Moon over Brooklyn, shining bright
Gonna see my baby in the Bronx tonight
Staten Island, Queens County, New York Harbor
Gotta get back to my Manhattan mamaNew York, New York
New York, New York
You know it sounds so nice
I've got to say it twice
New York, New York[Instrumental]Downtown local bound to take me home to
Country canyons made of glass and chrome
Gotta get yourself hip to the ways of the street
You can't get into it until you get down deep in
New York, New York
New York, New York
You know it sounds so nice
They had to name it twice
New York, New York[Instrumental]See the wealth passing by my door
Looking through my window on the 86th floor
Can't get used to living where the air is clear

I got to dig the funky urban atmosphereNew York, New York
New York, New York
You know it sounds so nice
I've got to say it twice
New York, New York
New York![Instrumental]
Moon over Brooklyn, shining bright
Gonna see my woman in the Bronx tonight
Staten Island, Queens County, New York Harbor
Gotta get home to my Manhattan mamaNew York, New York
New York, New York
You know it sounds so nice
They had to name it twice
New York, New YorkOh, New York, New York
New York, New York
You know it sounds so nice
I've got to say it twice
New York, New York
