New York, New York Lyrics

Smoking marijuana
And watching channel five
I got to get my strength up
This struggle to surviveWell, everyone's an asshole
Everyone's a creep
I look out the city
There's bungalows in the streetsI live in the city
I breathe dirty air
I ride trains with b-boys
Junkies, queens and squaresSafely someone's smiling
The fat man waits his turn
Soon he'll count his money
While the south Bronx slowly burnsGet out for the children
Get your ass and run
Get out of this stinking mess
To a safe suburban slumI live in the city
I breathe dirty air
I ride trains with b-boys

Junkies, queens and squaresNew York, New York
New York, New York
New York, New York, New York
New York, New YorkNew York, New York
New York, New York, New York
New York, New York
New York, New York

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Dictators are an American punk rock band from New York City. In 1975, they released their first album, 'The Dictators Go Girl Crazy', making them the first NYC punk band to release an album on a major label. Their infectious version of "California Sun" got a huge response. They are considered, to this day, very influential in the genre's development. The Dictators are represented in the "Punk Wing" of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
