Nice, Naive and Beautiful Lyrics

She's so nice, naive and beautifulShes only known heartache and pain
Shes never known pain like this
She stands alone defending her nameKnow that shes trying to be who she is
Well, is it so wrong to be who we are
When all that shes done is fail?Cause shes so nice, naive and beautiful
Why does she keep taking advantage?
Why does she live in a world so cold?
She takes advantage of the nice, naive and the beautifulCold is the throne of her hardened heart
No one has seen the softest part
Day after night she holds an acheBut wont budge to show the secret layers
Well, is it so wrong to hang onto hurt?
Maybe she could set it freeCause shes so nice, naive and beautiful
Why did she get taken for granted?
Why does she live in a world so cold?
He took advantage of the nice, naive and the beautifulIf youve been there, you know
If youre still there, hang on
Were all dealt our lumps of coal
What you do with it can turn beautifulWell, theres life outside of your madness

And theres a face behind every scar
But theres a love overflowing with gladnessGet out of that place thats restraining your love
I said, "Get out of that place thats restraining you love"She's so nice, naive and beautiful
She's so nice, naive and beautiful

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee fronted the Dove Award-winning alternative rock band Plumb during the late '90s, and adopted the name Plumb for her subsequent full-fledged solo career. She was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta, where she took several gigs as a backup singer and wound up touring in that capacity instead of going to college, as she'd planned. She relocated to Nashville, where she landed a record deal based on her session and backup work, and formed Plumb with neighbor/songwriter/producer Matt Bronleewe.
