Nightmares by the Sea Lyrics

Beware the bottled thoughts of angry young men
Secret compartments hide all of skeletons
Little girl wants to make her home with him
In the middle of the shore she wondersDon't know what you asked for
Don't know what you asked forAll young lovers know why
Nightmares blind their mind's eye
Your rube is young and handsome
So new to your bedroom floor
You know damn well where you'll goI've loved so many times and I've drowned them all
From the coral graves they rise up when darkness falls
With their bones they'll scratch the window
I hear them callDon't know what you asked for
Don't know what you asked for
Don't know what you asked forAll young lovers know why
Nightmares blind their mind's eye
Your rube is young and handsome
So new to your bedroom floor
You know damn well where you'll goStay with me under these waves tonight

Be free for once in your life tonightYour rube is young and handsome
So new to your bedroom floor
You know damn well where you'll go
All young lovers know why
Nightmares blind their mind's eyeYour rube is young and handsome
So new to your bedroom floor
You know damn well where you'll go
All young lovers know why
Nightmares blind their mind's eyeYour rube is young and handsome
So new to your bedroom floor
You know damn well where you'll go

There are multiple bands named Katatonia: 1) Swedish metal band. 2) Polish death/thrash metal band. 1) Katatonia is a Swedish metal band formed in Stockholm in 1991 by Jonas Renkse and Anders Nyström. The bands music has doom metal elements and influences with their progressive metal style, noting the overall bleak melancholy and despair sound. After more than a year of rehearsals and composing, the first real fruits of their labour came to light in mid 1992 with the release of the demo "Jhva Elohim Meth", recorded at Sweden's Gorysound Studio and produced by the multi-musician Dan Swanö.
