Nights Like This Lyrics

Shu bee doop do do doo oooo
Shu bee doop do do doo
Shu bee doop do do doo oooo
Shu bee doop do do dooI could feel that it was over
Your love for me, dimming it slowly
Why couldn't you tell me you had another on your mind?
It's no way to treat me when you know how I feeled insideI could not hide the way I felt last night, tears I cried
My love for you I can't deny, no, no, noNights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Yes I do, baby
Nights like this I wish that rain drops would fallGirl, now I know what's been goin' on
You got another lover and you got it goin' strong
I've been walkin' 'round town with a smile on my face
Tryin' to fight the hurt, tryin' to hide the shame, babyI cannot cry no more, now I realize
I was too blind baby
Bein' a fool in love, you know it ain't right girl
If you really wanna be happy babyNights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
How I wish rain drops would fall on my face, baby
Nights like this I wish that rain drops would fall

Ohh yeahNights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Rain drops on my face, baby
Nights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Baby, yeah, yeah, yeahTears I criedI could feel when everything was not too real
Inside I cried to win your love, you know I triedNights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Everytime fallin' on my face, baby
Nights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Come on, come on, yeahNights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Let them fall, let them fall from my eyes
Nights like this I wish that rain drops would fall
Yeah, yeah

After 7 was an R&B group, founded in 1988 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds and Keith Mitchell. The Edmonds brothers are the older siblings of popular pop and R&B singer-songwriter Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds" while Mitchell is the cousin of Babyface's then-partner, songwriter-producer Antonio "L.A." Reid. The band released their first album issued self-titled debut in autumn 1989, which included the hits, "Sayanora", "Heat of the Moment", "Can't Stop" and the quiet storm staple, "Ready or Not".
