No Child of Mine Lyrics

You are my child and how you've grown
But there are things that you must learn
That every man must stand alone
And family you must disownGo home, find your own way
Go on, find your own way
Go home, find your own way
Go on, find your own wayDon't cry my child, you must know
That every man I've ever loved
Has been a child and fatherless
Trust in yourself, it's all that you can trustGo home, find your own way
Go on, find your own way
Go home, find your own way
Go on, find your own wayGo home, find your own way
Go on, find your own way
Go try, find your own way
Go on, find your own wayI have no time for hate or love
Hey child, you're so full of woe
I have no time for hate or lying

Hey child, you're no child of mineI have no time for hate or love
Hey child, you're so full of woe
I have no time for hate or lying
Hey child, you're no child of mineHey child, you're no child of mine
Hey child, you're no child of mine

Marianne Faithfull (born 29 December 1946 in London) is an English singer-songwriter and actress whose career spans more than four decades. Her early work in pop and rock music in the 1960s was overshadowed by her struggle with drug abuse in the 1970s. After a long commercial absence, she returned late in 1979 with the highly acclaimed album, Broken English. Faithfull's subsequent solo work, often critically-acclaimed, has at times been rather overshadowed by her personal history. From 1966 to 1970, she had a highly-publicised romantic relationship with Rolling Stones' lead singer Mick Jagger.
