No End in Sight Lyrics

The way I see it you must be blind
But can you spare a dime?
Can't you see your son is in too deep
Burning in the final sleepWide awake for ninety nine hours
No sleep tonight
He'll be pushing up flowers
Second chance he'll never get
A special high for blazes, burnLeft behind
Left and right
No end in sight
No end in sight
Let behind
Left and right
No end in sight
No end in sightRunning frantic without a clue
In the sand looking straight at you
Nothing straight, the world goes around
No one's safe until they're deep in the groundShot in the back, stopped in your tracks

The shifting sands coming over us
A second chance he hasn't got
It all boils down and turned aroundLeft behind
Left and right
No end in sight
No end in sight
Left Behind
Left and right
No end in sight
No end in sightThere's so many times I couldn't bear to watch
Witness the boredom of you thinking all soft
He left his mark, he left you blind
Chasing the dream, left sleep behindLeft behind
Left and Right
No end in sight
No end in sight
Left behind
Left and right
No end in sight
No end in sight
No end in sight
No end in sight

Mudhoney is an alternative rock band. Formed in Seattle, Washington, USA, in 1988 following the demise of Green River, Mudhoney's members are vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mark Arm, lead guitarist Steve Turner, bassist Guy Maddison, and drummer Dan Peters. Original bassist Matt Lukin left the band in 1999 but briefly returned in 2000 to complete touring obligations. Mudhoney's early releases on Sub Pop; the "Touch Me I'm Sick" single and the Superfuzz Bigmuff EP; were influential in the Seattle music scene, and helped inspire the dirty, high-distortion sound that would characterize grunge.
