No One Will Ever Replace Us Lyrics

Your razor sharp wit and a festival braid
Little playsuit like a hand grenade
Pull the pin, pull the pin
Pull the pin, pull the pinYou had your hamstrings on my shoulders for LCD
I thought maybe it's a moment
And maybe we
Stick with me, stick with me
Stick with me, stick with meYou know that
No one will ever replace us
You doubted it but I never did
No one will ever replace us
We were the best team that ever lived
So you lost your mind
And the rest of us don't worry honey
[?] to the best of us
You cannot comfort me
You cannot comfort meTrying to find a gap through the crowds
With your hand in mine running under the clouds

Stick with me, stick with me
Stick with me, stick with meYou know that
No one will ever replace us
You doubted it but I never did
No one will ever replace us
We were the best team that ever livedWe were then
Now we can be again
Just say the words and I'll be by your side
I'll be by your side
You know that
No one will ever replace us
You doubted it but I never did
No one will ever replace us
We were the best team that ever livedWe were then
Now we can again
Just say the words and I'll be by your side
I'll be by your side

The Courteeners are a British indie rock band formed in Manchester, in 2006 by Liam Fray (guitar/vocals), Michael Campbell (drums/backing vocals), Daniel Conan Moores (Guitar), and Mark Cuppello (bass). Whilst studying at the University of Salford, Liam Fray started to perform acoustic sets as a singer-songwriter around Manchester. After getting positive reactions from the crowd, Fray decided to leave University and form a band. He recruited long time friend Michael Campbell. At that time, Campbell had never played the drums in his life.
