No Thang On Me Lyrics

You know, I've been around the world and ai ai ai
I've met a lot of people
And what I've come to find out is that people are the same
They all share the same fears, share the same tears
And die over the years
So, I'm just gon' be thankful to get what I got
And hold onto what I have, can you dig that?
And what I do, I do for the benefit of me and my kids
Dig that, talk to meI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meIt's something kind of funny
How the man take your money
Be sure as he can be
In such a way you'll never seeIt's a terrible thing inside

When your natural high has died
What we can't turn to dope
And put all aside the hopeI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meTwinkling tinkling braids
We do all sorts of things
While you're in a modest place
Your conscious is only peaceYeah, I had to make peace with myself, you know what I mean?
I been getting high for the what last past fifteen, twenty years
So I told myself I wanna know what it feels like to be high for life
And I mean man, I tell you it feels real good
You know, coaching your lil' kids out there on the football field
Doing my thug thizzle still but you know
Just being high for life is a different feeling
You should try it my brother, I'm telling you it's a great feeling
Can you dig that?More and more you grieve
Until you grow another need
You claim this fantasy
You'll have no realityI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meDarling take a listen
This may be something that your missin'
I know your times are funky
But you don't have to be no junkieJust be glad you've got your own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on meI'm so glad I've got my own
So glad that I can see
My life's a natural high
And they can't put no thang on me[Incomprehensible]

Snoop Dogg has changed his name to Snoop Lion.

Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971 in Long Beach, California, United States), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, producer and actor. Snoop is best known as a famous MC in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of producer Dr. Dre's most notable protégés. He made his rap debut in 1992 on Dre's debut album The Chronic, and then released his debut album, Doggystyle, to much critical and public acclaim. His mother nicknamed him "Snoopy" as a child, and he took the stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg when he began recording. He changed his name to Snoop Dogg in 1996 when he left his original record label, Death Row Records, and signed with No Limit Records.

He has been affiliated with the Crips, a U.S. street gang. Several of his cousins, including RBX, Nate Dogg, Daz Dillinger, and Warren G are also hip hop artists and often collaborate with Snoop. In 2000, Snoop (as "Michael J. Corleone") directed Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, a pornographic film produced by Hustler. This film, combining hip-hop with X-rated material, was a huge success and won "Top Selling Release of the Year" at the 2002 AVN Awards. Driven by this success, Snoop directed Snoop Dogg's Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp in 2002 (this time using the nickname "Snoop Scorsese").

As a rapper, he is perhaps best known for his “lazy drawl” — a slurred, distinctively calm, laid-back, and rhythmically-complex lyrical delivery. His lyrics have often been criticized for their glorification of misogyny, violence and gangsterism; however, he is often credited for accurately portraying street slang and attitudes.
