No Way Out Lyrics

Hungry eyes looked up to me
I swore to God
I'd put it right they'll see
A temptation whispered in my ear
Hard times
Took away my fearIt's too late to hope and pray
Under a blood red sky
On both sides the river lies
With no escape in sightHeeeyyy! No way out
No saving me
Those days are gone
No looking back
That I can see
Those days are goneShot guns and black and whites flash
Red lights
There's no turning back
Cat's eyes glow in the street
White lines point to freedom from the heatIt's too late to hope and pray

Under a blood red sky
On both sides the river lies
With no escape in sightHeeeyyy! No way out
No saving me Noooo
Those days are gone
No looking back
That I can see
Those days are goneOwwww! Those days are gone(Guitar solo)On both sides the river lies
With no escape in sight
NooOoooONo way out
No saving me
Those days are gone
No looking back
That I can see
Those days are goneNo way out
No saving me Noooo
Those days are gone
No looking back
That I can see
Those days are goneThere's no waaay out

With radio friendly AOR super-groups such as Bad English and Damn Yankees receiving commercial success, former Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham decided to form a similar type band and hope for stardom.
Gorham recruited fellow Americans Tommy La Verdi (vocals), Leif Johansen (bass), and Michael Sturgis (drums). By 1992 they had been signed to RCA records and released a well-polished AOR album that received rave reviews, but went relatively unnoticed by the record buying public.
