Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen Lyrics

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, HallelujahSometimes I'm up, sometimes
I'm down, ohh, yes Lord
Sometimes I'm almost
To the ground, oh yes, LordNobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Anybody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, HallelujahIf you got there before
I do, oh yes Lord
Tell all my friends, I'm
Coming too, oh yes LordNobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, HallelujahAlthough you see me
Goin' on so, oh yes
I have my trials, here below

Ohh yes, LordOh, nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah
Ohh, glory, Hallelujah

Louis Armstrong (1901-1971) was a trumpet player, singer, and bandleader, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists in the history of jazz. Armstrong was born and brought up in New Orleans, a culturally diverse town with a unique musical mix of creole, ragtime, marching bands, and blues. Although from an early age he was able to play music professionally, he didn't travel far from New Orleans until 1922, when he went to Chicago to join his mentor, King Oliver.
