Not a Love Like This Lyrics

You said you love me
I think you meant it at the time
Time has a way of changing
That's the nature of the crimeI want a love
That makes me light up like the sun
I want a love
That doesn't make me want to run, runNot the kind of love
Where I wake up with a start
In the early morning hour
With a feeling in my heartThat there's a joke that I'm not getting
There's a turn I must have missed
No, not the kind that leaves me hanging
In the whirling twist, no, no, no
Not a love like this, not a love like thisI thought I knew you
These days you're anybody's guess
Take me or leave me
I'm tired of settling for less'Cause I want a love
That makes me wanna weep

'Cause I'm never known
A taste of anything so sweetNot the kind of love
Where I wake up with a start
In the early morning hours
With a feeling in my hearThat there's a joke that I'm not getting
There's a turn I must have missed
No, not the kind that leaves me hanging
In the whirling twist, no, no, no
Not a love like this, not a love like this'Cause I want a love
That makes me light up like the sun
Yeah, I want a love
That doesn't make me want to run, runNot the kind of love
Where I wake up with a start
In the early morning hour
With a feeling in my heartThat there's a joke that I'm not getting
There's a turn I must have missed
No, not the kind that leaves me hanging
In the whirling twist, no, no, no
Not a love like this, not a love like this
