Nothing Left to Say Lyrics

You sigh and say goodbye
And turn while I scratch out my eyes
What have I done this time
Nevermind last yearNever wanted to be
All of the things I'm sure are me
Finally, I can see
You're too good for thisAnd I know I'm too late
'Cause there's already nothing left to say
There's really nothing left to say
There's nothing left to sayOh, if you only knew
How often I thought of you
And how you would feel
You would smile for sureSo you can't be mad
When you don't get your sweater back
'Cause it's the only part of you
That I can holdAnd I know I'm too late
'Cause there's already nothing left to say
There's really nothing left to say

There's nothing left to sayAnd I know I'm too late (oooh)
'Cause there's nothing left to say
And at the end of today, it's far too late
But I really never ever wanted it to come to this
'Cause the final chapter, I never realized
That it truly was the endOooh, all I was trying to do
Was to have and not hurt you
Couldn't bear to lose
My best friend againAnd as you walk away
Please believe me when I say
That it meant everything
To me tooAnd I know I'm too late
'Cause there's already nothing left to say
There's really nothing left to say
There's nothing left to say
There's nothing left to say

Dance Hall Crashers came into existence after Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman disbanded from the legendary ska-punk band Operation Ivy. Both departed soon after the Crashers' formation (and later reunited in Rancid), leaving vocalist Elyse Rogers and guitarist Jason Hammon to lead the band.
The Dance Hall Crashers recorded a few songs during their first year (these are featured on The Old Record), and in 1990, they made their most notable lineup change, adding second vocalist Karina Denike.
