Now I Know Lyrics

[Intro]I should’ve known the deal
Didn’t think it was real
But now I know how it feels
I should’ve known the deal
Didn’t think it was real
But now I know how it feels
[Verse 1]Yeahh Oh
She said she’s leaving
She aint give me a reason she just walked out the door
And I aint been sleeping no
Trying to figure out why
Why she don’t love me no more
I can’t take the pain
I, don’t like the change
I, said I moved on but things just aint the same
I, I love her and I don’t want to hurt no more
[Hook]I want to take this time
To apologize to every women that I ever hurt

Coz lord knows I told a lot of lies
I cheated and I did a whole lot of dirt
[Chorus]But now I know how it feels
To lose a lover
Someone that truly loves ya
I wish I didn’t have to go out like that
But now I know how its feels
To love somebody
To really love somebody
And find out they aint loving you back
But now I know how it feels
And I aint ever felt this way before
And I don’t want to feel this way no more
But now I know how it feels (More)
I knew it was real, yeah
But now I know how it feels
[Verse 2]I walked her into the mansions
And introduced her to Hollywood
Put her on the red carpet
But I guess it didn’t do a lot of good
Because the money didn’t mean nothing (she needed love)
I, put her in front of cameras
And now everybody is saying that
We look so good together
But that aint gone bring my baby back yeah
Because she aint my girl no more
[Hook]Sooo, I’m gonna take this time
To apologize to every women I ever hurt, hey
Coz lord knows I told a lot of lies
I cheated and I did a whole lot of dirt, yeah
[Chorus]But now I know how it feels
To lose a lover
Someone that who loves ya
I wish I didn’t have to go out like that, eh
But now I know how its feels
To love somebody
To really love somebody
And find out they aint loving you back, yeah yeah
But now I know how it feels
And I aint ever felt this way before
And I don’t want to feel this way no more
But now I know how it feels (More)
I knew it was real, ohh
But now I know how it feels
[Outro]If I’m man enough to say I’m sorry
You should be women enough to take me back
If I’m man enough to say that I’m sorry
You should be women enough to take me back
I lied, but you cried
But you tried to heal the hurt inside
I knew that she was real
But know I know how it feels

For some quitting is an option. For others perseverance and diligence is the only choice. Profound diligence is exactly what has kept R&B quartet One Chance together over the years. This foursome is comprised of group members Jon Gordon, Rob Brent, Courtney Vantrease and Michael Gordon who joined forces in Chicago, Illinois nearly a decade ago.

The group is in accordance with the belief that “Failure was never an option for them,” states group member Jon Gordon. “Even in our down time, the constant love, support and patience from our fans helped keep the fire going.”

Keeping the flame burning is exactly what fans have been doing since the group began their journey in Chicago, after they finished high school. After creating a buzz in their hometown One Chance was formally introduced to the world when the group was given the opportunity to have two features on the soundtrack to the motion picture In The Mix. This feature would lead to the group releasing the “Snap and B” single Look At Her, which featured rapper Fabo of D4L. The success of the single afforded One Chance to the opportunity to perform as a part of the nationwide BET sponsored Scream Tour.

After delays in the release of their debut album One Chance had to make a choice that would eventually make all the difference. “There came a time, when we had to make the decision to take control of our careers,” states Vantrease. “We had to do this our own way.”

Now in 2010 the Atlanta based R&B group who started their music careers singing in Chicago are doing just that, taking control. “We’ve never stopped recording” states Brent staying in the studio is what we feel allowed us to sign with a T-Pain and his label Nappy Boy Entertainment.” “T-Pain is someone who believed in what we were doing” says Michael Gordon. T-Pain was a long time supporter of the group and after a impromptu performance the artist signed the quartet to his Nappy Boy Entertainment imprint shortly thereafter.

With a new team and new outlook on the music industry, One Chance is confident and excited to be on their way to creating some of the same magic that their inspirations have done in the past, an impressive list that includes Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson Sam Cooke and more. One Chance is currently gearing up for a promotional tour in support their self penned single Sexin’ On You which was produced by Fyre. The smooth R&B song is an excellent blend of classic 90s style with a new age twist that showcases not only the groups strength vocally, but their talent as writers and offers a taste of what you can expect from their forthcoming debut album.
