Now Is the Hour (Maori Farewell Song) Lyrics

Now is the hour when we must say goodbye
Soon you'll be sailing far across the sea
While you're away oh, then, remember me
When you return you'll find me waiting hereSunset glow fades in the west
Night o'er the valley is creeping
Birds cuddle down in their nest
Soon all the world will be sleepingNow is the hour when we must goodbye
Soon you'll be sailing far across the sea
While you're away oh, then, remember me
When you return you'll find me waiting here

Martin David Robinson (born September 26, 1925 in Glendale, Arizona; died December 8, 1982 in Nashville, Tennessee), better known simply as Marty Robbins, was an American Grammy award winning country music singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. One of the most popular and successful country and western singers of his era, for most of his nearly four-decade career, Robbins was rarely far from the country music charts, and several of his songs also became pop hits.
