Now That I Have You Lyrics

You found me when I was alone
You held me and you made my heart your home
I sit around and dream and there's no one else I see
'Cuz there's no one else for me
I don't feel like cryingI have no tears
'Cuz I have no reason to cry
Love is on my mind
And my heart's no longer blue
(You, you, you)
Ahh, you
(You, you, you)
Ooh you
(You, you, you)
Eh hey you
I don't let anyone tell me what to do
How to love, who to love
They don't know you like I know you
This is so natural, it's hard to believePeople all around me

And there's no one else I see
'Cuz there's no one else for me
I don't feel like cryingI have no tears
'Cuz I have no reason to cry
Love is on my mind
And my heart's no longer blue
Now that I have you, yeah
(You, you, you)
I have the world and I have no fears
And I know where my happiness is
Now that I've got you to care
Now that you've got me forever
Everything I don't want is gone
And I know, I can't live without your loveAll the things I wanted now
Are starting to be true
(I can't live without your love)
And all the dreams I ever dreamed
Are coming now that I have youLove is on my mind
And my heart's no longer blue
Honey, now that I have you
Oh, now that I have you
(You, you, you)
(You, you, you)

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005) was an american soul and rnb singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House Is Not A Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never Too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If Only For One Night", "Here And Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
