Nyce 2 Know Ya Lyrics

Nyce 2 know ya [x3]
Live inside your head just like the day before tomorrow.
Been spending most our lives recalling things we already know.
I tried too hard to steal the sky and call it heaven bound.
At times I feel like I'm alone like a new kid in town
She said I need your love that's what she says
She said she had to break the mirrors that exist in her head
I often wonder if I could keep you compromisin' things
But then I feel the heat and wind beneath these angel wings
Nice to know ya
Can't believe it's almost over now and you just wanna let me go
Nice to know ya
And when I look up at your picture I see someone I ain't seen before
Nice to know ya
Cause every time you talk about it how come I'm always the last to know
Nice to know ya
You know you don't even deserve me 'cause you would rather close the door
Nice to know ya

I'd rather run than work this out
You light the sun cause you burned it out
Ain't no time to waste
Already had my taste I gotta find another way
You and I goin' forever out of place but girl I'm leaving you today
Ohh never change always be the same drivin' slow on purpose up in my fast lane
Then again how do you reason with the heathen - if perception is reality, perceive that I be leavin'
I know the reason you need somethin' to believe in,
God she's the type to kick a sleepin' dog
Raw when I eat the beat like a freak I'm over chic bleak I'm turnin' the other cheek
I don't wanna be the one to tell you it's over
I'm wise enough to see the sun I'm finally sober
I'm moving on you can't prove me wrong girl
There's nothing left to say cause I'm goooooone
Nice to know ya
Can't believe it's almost over now and you just wanna let me go
Nice to know ya
And when I look up at your picture I see someone I ain't seen before
Nice to know ya
Cause everytime we talk about it how come I'm always the last to know
Nice to know ya
You know you don't even deserve me 'cause you would rather close the door
Nice to know ya.

k-os (born Kevin Brereton on February 20, 1972 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer of Trinidadian descent. His real name may also be cited as Kheaven, a spelling he adopted later.

The alias "k-os" is pronounced "chaos" and is an acronym for "Knowledge of Self," although in a later interview he also said that it stands for "Kheaven's Original Sound." His music incorporates a wide variety of music genres including but not limited to rap, funk, rock, and reggae. The lyrics frequently focus on promoting a "positive message" while at times expressing criticism of mainstream hip hop culture's obsession with money, fame and glorification of violence. A musician as well as a producer, k-os has written and produced a large portion of all four of his albums. k-os usually performs with a live band, something that is uncommon in the hip hop genre. He sometimes plays guitar and keyboard both during live performances and in the studio.

k-os received his first musical exposure with the single "Musical Essence," released in 1993. After the release of his second single "Rise Like The Sun" in 1996 he withdrew from the industry because he was dissatisfied with his musical style. He reappeared briefly in 1999 and released his debut album Exit in 2002. The album received positive reviews but sold relatively few copies. He released his second album Joyful Rebellion in 2004, which received platinum status in Canada. Joyful Rebellion received positive reviews, but at times was criticized for speaking extensively on the state of hip hop. k-os's third album, Atlantis: Hymns for Disco, was released in 2006, and his fourth album entitled Yes! was released in April of 2009.
