Odyssey/Conan Troutman/N.O./Whitewater Lyrics

III. ODYSSEYTake one to the mountain
Take one to the sea
Take one to the belly of the beast
And then you'll take one with meShut it, shut it onFreezing in the fires
When I utter howl your name
Once you return from the belly of the beast
You're never quite the sameShut it, shut it on,
Shut it, shut it on,Fire on the mountain
And it rages inside of your soul
The fire inside the belly of the beast
Well it thunder-izes your soul
Shut it, shut it on
CONAN TROUTMANFeed my lung-flower seed,
You are gone and now I'm free (I'm free - yeah),
Strip me down to nothing,
Fuck me will free the vulture (make it fly),Burning my brain and burning my teeth (in the sun),
100° and burning my need (make it fly),
Live the love that I have for you,

Taking you life for want you (free)
N.O.I awake up tomorrow today,
Just help me burn my head
I could be dead,
What to go,
What to say when you're crossin' my line,
Oh, give me time,
Oh, give me time,
Oh, just like they saidI live my life alone,
Never going home,
Just like they said,
It's just a song the same,
It's just a song the same
WHITEWATEROh sunshine,
The loving beauty,
Pass me by,
Should I waste my time
In your valley,
Beneath your sky?Aah,
Aah,
Aah,
Aah, I am home. You move your own mountain,
The trees have grown,
The trees have grown,
Now it's over,
Now it's over and I'm coming home.Aah,
Aah,
Aah,
Aah, I am home.

For 2011 touring line-up, see Kyuss Lives!. Kyuss (pronounced /ˈkaɪ.əs/ KYE-əs) is the corner stone of what is known as stoner rock or desert rock. Although deriving influence from 60s-70s hard rock, Kyuss churned out a unique sound. This was primarily because guitarist Josh Homme often tuned to a low C, a major third below standard pitch, but also singer John Garcia's paint stripping vocals. The band was originally formed in 1989 in Palm Desert, California under the name "Sons of Kyuss". They took the name from a monster in Dungeons and Dragons.
