Officer Down Lyrics

This isn't on the CD. It's called "Man Down" on the CD.
It got censored by Interscope, they can't call it Officer Down.
So, here's the full lyrics.AOWWWW!
It hurts...(50 growls)
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah - YEAH!D's tryin to plant a murder on me
In the precinct, they sayin' I done murdered homey
I told my lawyer, "I ain't heard of homey"
And e'rybody know my niggas murder fo' meYou see I'm on your crib, it ain't a burglary homey
They fin' to have me stuck in purgatory
I'm down to do the stickin' when it come to the orgy
Conventional methods of sex, totally bore me
Wait! I'm getting' sidetracked, back to the story
These cocksuckin' police got it in fo' me
They flash the lights, they wanna rough me up
Frisk me, find my burner, and cuff me upBut history repeats itself, they never learn
The Unit's the new BeBo, who gon' be Eddie Byrne? (Huh?)
We'll find out when niggas let off the rounds
And his partner's screamin', "Officer down!"Police get in the way, I'll murder them

I'll murder them
A nigga already got three strikes, I'll murder them
I said I'll murder them
Any motherf**ker touch me, I'll murder themI'll murder them
You don't believe me, wait and see, I'll murder them
You see I told you I'd murder them
They sayin' I'm an accident waitin' to happen
I got one in the head; I'm just waitin' to clap it
A pimp told me I was made for this mack shit
So just get you a white girl, don't f**k with no black bitchI got two felonies; from sellin' that crack shit
And the third one, came from showin' niggas my mac spit
See I'm down for that daytime action
Have niggas crawlin' under cars when I start to cappin'So they don't know what to say to the captain
But they know if word get back, somethin gon' happen
I've been shot, I've been stabbed, but I ain't been snitched on
When you snitchin' where I'm from, you gon' get your shit blownI make the best of the worst
We gotta share the same bitch, okay I go first
Cause your baby's momma is, my baby's momma
I come through to see my little nigga with the llamaPolice get in the way, I'll murder them
I'll murder them
A nigga already got three strikes, I'll murder them
I said I'll murder them
Any motherf**ker touch me, I'll murder them
I'll murder them
You don't believe me, wait and see, I'll murder them
You see I told you I'd murder them

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, actor, singer, entrepreneur, author and founder of the hip hop group and label G-Unit. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he released his debut album Guess Who's Back? in 2002. He was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre and then signed to Interscope Records. He has since released 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2005's The Massacre, 2007's Curtis and 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent has engaged in feuds with other rappers including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, The Game, Cam'Ron, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. He has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. 50 Cent is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $440 million in 2008.

Before 50 Cent ever inked a major deal, he built up a substantial fan base in New York through underground mixtapes. 50 Cent met up with Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC and was signed to his label to write all of Jay’s music. After he’d left JMJ, he signed to Columbia Records in 1996. On this label, he released Power of the Dollar, and the singles How to Rob and Ghetto Qu’ran. Columbia Records released him from the label after being shot on May 24th, 2000.

Around this time, Eminem had heard one of 50 Cent’s demo tapes and expressed a huge interest in him on MTV, as did Dr Dre. Shortly after this, 50 Cent officially signed to Interscope Records. He was the first rapper to sign to the joint label owned by Dr Dre and Eminem. The first song he released on this record was entitled Wanksta and was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In its first week of release, his debut ”Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” sold 872,000 units - easily reaching Gold status. Within the second week it went Platinum (1 mil) and on April 12th, 2004 the RIAA certified it six times Platinum.

In 2005 he followed the success of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with a new release - The Massacre (originally called St. Valentines Day Massacre until the release date was pushed back). The first single released off this, Disco Inferno, was a huge hit - he followed this hit up by the release of Candy Shop and then again with Just a Lil Bit.

In 2003 Interscope allowed 50 Cent to have his own label - G-Unit records. He first signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit. In 2004, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent had signed The Game under a joint venture.
