There are at least three artists with this name: 1) Theaudience: English Rock/Indie/Pop band formed in 1997 fronted by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Bextor split band to go solo. 2) German Rock/Pop/Punk band from Hersbruck; members: Bernd Pflaum (vocals), Michael Arnold (bass, vocals), Sebastian Wild (guitar, vocals), Johannes Preiß (organ, vocals), Florian Helleken (drums). 3) The Audience was a Santa Cruz and Oakland-based post-hardcore/rock band.
